In addition to the bookmarking feature suggested, could we have mandatory categories drop down menu in the synth window when uploading? This means it will be easy to select synths to view in categories of interest to viewers.

Tags are supposed to be a flexible way to do this.  Do you think we should make tagging mandatory?

the volume of synths is so great now, and a quick scan seems to show that the pace is still accelerating - so some structure/organisation would be good. I find it useful to search synths before making one to see what others have done - this means that I will always try to take a new approach on a new synth. Since this is not a mandatory requirement, this is not always an effective process. Also I think, making people think about the category of their synth before uploading will hopefully eliminate a lot of the 0% synths out there - many of which are random collections of photos probably better suited to other sites geared up for photo collections.

I agree with Fred: Help us to find something somewhere!
at least a search on many tags (at least 2) working as AND and not as OR (cathedral AND interior)
and maybe a quality level in the search: ie not less than 80%

What if search had other filters like synthness or image count. Right now I search and I get 0% synth stuff that is tagged well. I want 50% or more synthy or do not shpow it to me in the search results. A slide on differnt filters would be cool.
