Godfather3927, I'm assuming that you mean being able to actually see the synth on Facebook, rather than just having a link to it created?

You can create a link that will automatically grab the thumbnail, title, and description from the synth and post a link to it by using the 'Facebook' link under your synth, but sadly no one's taken the initiative to provide a long lasting way to actually view synths embedded in Facebook. I share your wish. After all, that's where the people are.

With 360Cities.net you can embed panorama images in Facebook and panning the panorama in the facebook page. Works like a charm. But the viewer of 360Cities.net is from krpano.com based on Flash. And Photosynth is based on Microsoft's Silverlight. Everbody does his own standard to catch a piece of the cake and nothing works together...

There's absolutely no reason why Photosynths couldn't work on Facebook, Silverlight or not.

Someone (ideally the Photosynth team or even Facebook themselves) simply needs to create a Facebook app that embeds synths on Facebook. Last year, a company called speakTECH created a Facebook app called MySynths which did just that, but unfortunately they discontinued the app without any warning or comment.

It is so sad that until now we don't have anything like MySynths! absolute lack of opporunity and vision...
