Is there a Photosynth Silverlight Custom Control?
If not we need one to be able to integrate Photosynth in a Silverlight application for WP7, web, and out of browser mode as well.
I am working on Slate and WP7 applications for the Auto industry.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you very much for your time and help in advance.

Sincerely Yours,

I agree. Are there any plans for WP7 photosynth?

Ivan, you might want to look up John OBrien from Soul Solutions or just contact the Photosynth team directly: http://photosynth.net/contactus.aspx or make inquiries about development options: http://photosynth.net/commercial.aspx

Frank, I don't know if you're asking about Photosynth on WP7 for consumers or for developers, but I find it almost impossible to think that Photosynth hasn't thought about creating an app for Windows Phone. Whether that happens inside or outside Bing Maps for WP7 remains to be seen.

For a few hints that things are brewing for mobile, see http://bit.ly/are2010blaise

Thanks for the tweet Nate, Some time ago I took apart the photosynth silverlight control and embeded in my own custom Silverlight app, it was a Bing Maps embedded concept before it had been implimented - its no longer running as the host, Azure CTP, is now closed down.
The basic concept is that Silverlight runs on the client, so you can get the Photosynth dlls, redgate reflector allows you to see how to use it, however this is not a supported control, good for a concept but you would not use in a commerical application. I had to fix the code everytime a change was maded here.
Also as compiled dlls you can't use these on WP7.
The only current solution is to use the embed link, on a multi-touch tablet the control is very cool.
Love to see a supported Silverlight control, My guess is that the "supported" part is the difficult piece?

wonder if HDView SL can be used to show a Photosynth stitch
http://hdviewsl.codeplex.com/

supposing it can, how can one find the data (DeepZoom XML I guess) given a Photosynth embed URL?
