Is there a forum for photosynthers anywhere??

if not I have put this up http://www.photosynth.ning.com it might not be the right platform to use but its free.

Should there be a better place that I have not found then please point me that way!

I'm not finding answers quickly enough on this forum

Cheers

Hey, I don't think it can be bad to have independent fan communities so I'll keep an eye on your new forum, but if all you're needing is a way to search, did you get my last reply to you here?

Although this forum may be basic, it does easily show you the newest activity in each category of discussion, which is the main thing that most people care about.

Google and Bing do a perfectly fine job of searching the forum unless you're looking for answers posted in the last week or so, provided that you tell them to stick to the Photosynth site, as detailed in the second half of this post:

Begin reading at "As to searching the Photosynth forums".

You can use your browser's 'search this page' feature to find that phrase by holding [Ctrl] and pressing [F].

Be sure to study the link examples that I provide.

As to better forum software, the first Photosynth forum was hosted at
http://getsatisfaction.com/livelabs/products/livelabs_photosynth
and has quite a few discussions. What's more, it still functions and gets answers from Photosynth team members today.

I'm not trying to discourage you from starting your own Photosynth fan site. I mean, I'm interested to see what you'll come up with, but I do like having consolidated places to find or give answers, for whatever that's worth.

No its more that its hard to interact and share in this space, I can't easily PM you now for instance.

Starting something else wont work unless people use it so if no one joins it shall sink without trace!
