Topic: CREATE synths on Mac? in Linux?

Need to know as part of my research for talk I will be giving.

I know that VIEWING synths is possible on Mac, and pretty sure in Linux, thru Silverlight. Even saw articles (including a vid) of Direct3D viewer running on Mac under VBware Fusion, plus mention of it running under BootCamp. But, can Mac +/or Linus users CREATE synths? If so, how?

TIA.

Synthing runs fine on Bootcamp, and should work file, albeit slowly, on virtual machines such as Parallels, and VMware Fusion. We do not have a native synther for the Mac or Linux.

Swami, you should note that Novell is still struggling to release Moonlight 2 from its beta which should run all Silverlight 2 apps (like the first Silverlight Photosynth viewer).

Since the fall update for Photosynth, though, the viewer is a Silverlight 3 app and trying to run it with even the final build of Moonlight 2, I suspect simply won't work. The update to SL3 was very much needed + appreciated for performance but sadly cuts Linux users out when they were just months away from viewing synths.
