Did the leaves fall off? Something not working right? Let us know how we can improve the Photosynth experience.
I had started to capture images and received a "can't capture" error and to aim at the last image I captured, but I had to stop suddenly, and was unable to do that. I have since left the location and now when I try to start a new image, I still have the "can't capture" message and a dark screen and the option to "finish" is grayed out and I can't select it - I can only select "cancel" and when I try to start again, it takes me right back to the "can't capture" screen. Is there a way to reset something so it will stop looking for an image that I can no longer take?
When in doubt, reboot! On iOS, this means holding the power button down until you see the "Slide to Power Off" message, and doing so. (Rebooting frees up the memory that all current Apps are holding. When Photosynth cannot proceed it is usually due to not being able to get enough memory.) Let us know if this works. David.
That did it! .. Thanks!
I have the same problem, downloaded this app today and still have not been able to take one photo... Details below: -iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1 -PhotoSynth ver 1.1.3 -approx 2.9GB spare What I've tried doing: -turning phone off and on again -uninstalling and reinstalling app -clearing all active running apps by double-clicking home button(incl. photosynth) -taking portrait and landscape photos -taking photos in different areas -changing settings inside photosynth Any ideas on how to get this working? It shouldn't be this difficult, my friend was using it on his phone easy as, which makes me think it's not an especially fiddly/"#%!@" app to use... Thanks in advance :)
