Did the leaves fall off? Something not working right? Let us know how we can improve the Photosynth experience.
A strange "glich" just happen moments ago. When I opened my Photosynts page today. It sort of gave me the "willies".
3 synths which I uploaded quite a while ago as "unlisted" and eventually deleted from my photosynth page, reappeared on my page, as though I personally had just uploaded them myself earlier today.
They were dated as being uploaded today. But the funny thing about this is, I don't even have these pics on my computer anymore. And as I mentioned, these synths were never made public.
How is this even remotely possible?
No big deal, but I would think that the synths would actually need to be physically upload for this to occur?
And again, these synths were never made public. Wierd, huh?
Thanking you in advance for an answer.
Oh, and while you are here check out this cool synth I made from 19 original images using F.C.O.P.
Weird stuff, indeed. Are the synths completely intact and accessible? Are they still there a half day later? It's strange that this sort of thing would happen to you, so soon after revealing your method and patent application. It could be that someone's taking notice. Is it time yet to break out the metal headgear? At the very least, perhaps this glitch will give your method that push into the big-time.
For anyone else, I'd assume that it was a typical server FuCOP...
Strange indeed, Jim. I'm not sure how to explain it. Are you sure they were deleted? We did a small deployment yesterday, so maybe something got screwed up in the database.
Thank you for your input Jonathan. It was very surprizing to me that an old deleted and unlisted synth would reappear on my page. It was not a huge deal, but the fact that these synths were deleted and I no longer have these images anywher on my computer, was just one of those things that make you go "mmmmmm.....?". But no biggie.
Hey michaeldenis, as I mentioned before, I love your sense of humor. I honestly assumed if anyone would pick up on my slightly subtle F.C.O.P. it would be you.
The glich I mentioned did happen, and it did strike me as strange. My wife thought it might have something to do with the weather.
She is a smart, very attractive, loving wife/mother/ and grandmother. But she knows very little about computers. The main thing that she knows for sure about computers, is that she hates everything about them.
If you lose anything as you get older(and you will lose some things like car keys, hair, memory and other stuff), do not lose your sense of humor, buddy.
Thanks for the chuckle of the day.
