Did the leaves fall off? Something not working right? Let us know how we can improve the Photosynth experience.
Before, i could view my photosynths fine, but now its asking me to install silverlight...so i clicked install and it wouldn't because i already have a newer version of the software...so why isn't it letting me view the synths?
Dean, what operating system and web browser are you having this problem with? If you have multiple web browsers installed, which ones do you have installed and are you having this problem in all of them or just one of them?
We are now also having this problem: - worked fine yesterday OS - Vista Home basic browser - IE 8 and Safari 5.0.2 works fine on Safari not at all (as above) with IE8
What are you told about your Silverlight version number when you visit: http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/ ? Optionally you could give the IE9 Beta ( http://beautyoftheweb.com/ or http://microsoft.com/ie9/ ) a spin, although that isn't a guarantee as I am completely unable to replicate the problem with IE8 either.
Latest version of silverlight is on our system, and that prevents this website from installing silverlight. Microsoft Silverlight Version: 4.0.50826.0 Realistically we're not going to install a new browser just to view this site..... Two people have reported the same issue, so obviously something is wrong somewhere.
NB: Just found this issue was prevalent in the forums a few months ago...... see Silverlight not being recognised.....
Can you confirm for me that you are using the 32-bit version of IE?
confirmed.....
Also, can you successfully use any other Silverlight app on the web? If so, which ones? Have you tried clearing your browser's cache and cookies?
can't view any on ie8, tried cleaning the system..... now removed silverlight.....
