I'd like to congratulate the photosynth team for there great
work on integrating panorama capabilities improved photosynths navigation
and other little tweaks. I think its great what you have done in the update especially the ui but i have notices some problems i have been facing here they
are:

Zoom on regular photosynths is very glitchie, before I could zoom way in and out
very easily now its very hand crunching and strange, actually some of the synths i look at i cant zoom at all in the synth but this may just be the update still loading or something i don't really know..

joneyes, can you add a link to the synths your seeing the zoom issue with? this will help me troubleshoot what your seeing.

Thanks

Sure :) http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=79391f94-d918-43df-b07a-23967f414ece

but i think its just since i use very low res images 300X400 i think
but i should make a point that with most synths i have veiwed after update
i noticed when you zoom all the way in right before you get to the farthest zoom
area the images flash up a very blurry version of the image like Gaussian blurred a 100 times look, then after a second or so it fades to show u the area in the image at the farthest zoom in focus , it doesn't always happen and some times it happens on an area other then the farthest zoom.

Glad to help :)

Joneyes, you called it right, the reason you can't zoom in on this synth is due to the res of the images. As for the occasional blurring you see when zooming this is due to some crossfading we do, and not having all the imagery as soon as we would like. We're aware this isnt as good as it could be and have a few ideas about improvements we can make that you may see in the not-too-distant future.
