Did the leaves fall off? Something not working right? Let us know how we can improve the Photosynth experience.
I have recently admired that iOS users are finally not prompted to install Silverlight any longer when encountering embedded Photosynth.net panoramas. I do not have an iOS device, myself, however I can at least set Safari's user agent to that of Mobile Safari and get an approximate experience. I do not know if Safari is correctly reproducing what happens on iOS devices, but this morning I tried viewing Ariel Dolan's mini collages of Photosynth.net panoramas while looking up resources for a post. http://aridolan.com/deepzoom/chaniaps3b.html I decided to see what the page would look like to iOS users. At first, it appears that it will work like other embedded panos in Mobile Safari, but when clicked the URLs are that of aridolan.com/view/collectionidhere rather than photosynth.net/view/collectionidhere Even though they use synths instead of panos, the same sort of error occurs at Stargate Universe's Photosynth page. http://stargate.mgm.com/photosynth/
The common factor in both pages is that they both use Photosynth's Javascript API. http://photosynth.net/api/docs/default.html
Thanks Nathanael, we will look into it.
