In what I assume was a test to see what effects it would have on the 'Related Synths' matching, Shail (I believe on the Photosynth team) filled in the comments to the synth "Alvin Orleng Zhu" ( http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=6351c83e-622e-4dca-b036-94f364b307fa ) with "No comments have been added about this synth yet. You can be the first!" repeated.

I have done any number of searches now and this synth seems to be associated with tons of them. Any ideas as to why or when this might be remedied?

Strangely, with all the synths that link the above mentioned as related, when you view its own synth, nothing is listed as related.

The runner up offender (and I can't tell why - perhaps it's mainly on synths in Oregon and semi-legitimately so) is "Joseph, OR" ( http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=c8731bdc-997f-485b-adf4-be1840e059be ).

It's mainly the top synth that is the most troublesome to me. For such a lame synth it's linked to an awful lot.

Could we get a status report?

We've been concentrating on shipping panos for a while and that had all our attention.  We're actively investigating the issue. No ETA on a fix yet though

FYI - this issue should be resolved now.  No more Alvin.  Happy searching.
