We are working on aerial photo experiments and frequently hit a 300 image barrier. We need to upload at least 900 images to get the smooth 'glass elevator' effect we desire. Can we temporary permission? Also the 'load synth' button is often grayed out or dead. ---Curt Westergard
Hello staff, what are your computer specs (also your internet connection should be fast) I have had no problem synthing 900 to 1000 pictures, but once I get over 1100 that's when I start having problems EdLee has a project with over 1400 pictures (I believe he reduced the resolution though) They greyed (ghosted) button should go once you name the synth.
Staff, could you reply with your OS, memory, processor speed, etc? This will help in troubleshooting. The synth button will become active only after you have selected 3 images and given the synth a title.
staff, my biggest successful synth was 1,499 photos all at 640x480 resolution. My biggest 100% synth at higher resolution was 315 photos, all at 3072x2304, but the upload time was over 6 hours because my upload speed is slow (only about 300kbps). With 1,400+ photos all 640x480, my total synth time (CPU + upload time) is about 8 hours.
