Did the leaves fall off? Something not working right? Let us know how we can improve the Photosynth experience.
I did not see this error listed in the forum. Has anyone else had issues with an "Error Saving" message. I opened a Synth this morning to correct a typo in a Highlight description and when I attempted to save the Synth I was met by this error. I have seen this on a few occasions before as well, however it seems to be a random error. Below is the Synth with the saving error: http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=2ea11f74-df10-4c3e-8d88-0c05a8edeaba Here are a few of my other Synths. I am the most pleased with the Main Level Library tour as it seems to flow the best. The Upper level is still a work in progress. http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=e2340e67-4bbc-4e74-9c18-387ab863861f http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=75203965-0e08-4894-8c7c-208d5d6a8b44
You had mentioned it here: http://photosynth.net/discussion.aspx?cat=a6bad539-de7d-4a16-8c4d-b143f7d5f984&dis=8b55355c-fb5a-4765-969e-7ab5efb77f1b It does really seem to be a rather random error as refreshing the edit page once or twice seems to make it go away. That's not so helpful when you just spent time getting geo-alignment or something else just right, though.
The Geo Alignment is VERY difficult to get set up when you are shooting images of what is essentially a basement. It wasn't until I started this project I realize the floors of this library do not match up at all. I think M.C. Escher was the architect. I was eventually able to get the changes to save but I wanted to bring this to everyones attention. All in all I really think this is amazing technology and I am VERY interested in seeing how it develops.
