Did the leaves fall off? Something not working right? Let us know how we can improve the Photosynth experience.
After I put my URL I get he message "Could not find endpoint element with name PhotosynyhServiceSoap...
Could you provide some context as to what you are trying to do? Some steps would help.
Kontellis appears to be attempting to use Christoph Hausner's SynthExport utility ( http://synthexport.codeplex.com ) to download Photosynth point cloud and camera coordinate data.
Apparently, when the app calls the Photosynth WebService, there is a miscommunication (perhaps due to a change in the formatting of how one is to interact with the service - possibly due to the semi-recent move to Windows Azure) and the SynthExport app fails to either send or receive what it expected from Photosynth's servers.
My machine is busy installing the Windows 8 Customer Preview at the moment, but once I'm back up and running, I'll try to confirm that the problem is not local to Kontellis' computer.
Kontellis, this may be up to Christoph to fix. You can report the problem at CodePlex. You may also want to try Henri Astre's PhotosynthToolkit. http://bit.ly/photosynth-toolkit
I downloaded SynthExport last night and ran it successfully. It did seem to take longer than usual, though I did select a large point cloud to test with.
unfortenuately I am unable to reproduce the problem here. Is SynthExport not working at all for you or do you get the error message only with your synths? The message indicates that the Photosynth servers couldn't be reached, I suppose there's some firewall or proxy issue that prevents SynthExport from establishing a connection. As Nathanael pointed out, it may also have something to do with the recent infrastructure changes at Photosynth. Contact me at the Codeplex site (http://www.codeplex.com/site/users/view/christoph_hausner) where I may be able to help you more directly.
