Share tips for making and sharing amazing panoramas from your phone.
I have a lot of panoramas taken with photosynth app on my iphone4.
Now I have got an iphone5 and would like to have everything transferred to my new iphone.
I have uploaded everything to photosynth.net.
My question is if there is some way to transfer everything(app and panoramas) to the new phone and, if there isnt, let me know the best way to have them on my new iphone.
Hi there, Artcsmota,
If you've uploaded all of your previous panoramas to your Photosynth.net account, you should see them in your app's library as soon as you sign into your account in the Photosynth app on another phone.
It could even be a Winodws Phone and you would still see everything you've previously uploaded to your account.
The panoramas will be being loaded from Photosynth.net's servers, rather than your phone's flash storage. That is the only difference.
It may be possible to use an application such as iExplorer http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/ to manually copy the local copies of your panoramas from your iPhone 4 and transfer them to your iPhone 5, but I don't have experience with that so can't guarantee that the app will see the panoramas if you move them manually like that.
I'm also trying to move my Photosynth pictures to a newly reformatted iPhone 4S (same phone but I want to reformat it and start from scratch to get rid of a lot of the junk I've accumulated). I have iExplorer and found the Microsoft App folder. Just want to know if anyone else has successfully transferred their Photosynth pictures this way (or any other way?) Thanks!
