so i took my first pano pic on my iphone, and want to upload it to my account so i can see it and embed it in my website. i can login fine on my phone, upload my photo fine, and on my iphone, it even shows the pic on photosynth.net in the photosynth app. but on the website under My Photosynths, i don't see anything. no photosynths and no recent activity. is there a lag between it showing on my photosynth app as being online, and actually being online? how do i access the uploaded photo on this site?

Gordon, I took a look and we have no record of any panos you've created in our database.  If you are seeing any in the photosynth.net section of the phone's library then I can only assume you're using a different live id for logging in on the phone and on the site. I can not see my synths either, only the one created on the iPhone the other two are not visible through the app.

once i fully logged out and logged back in again (with the same windows live account), i was able to see my pano. thanks for the help.

I have created one pano on my iPhone, after that tapped to share on photosynth.net, saw uploading process, but I can't see my pano in my photosynth profile. Does uploading/postprocessing take some time, or something went wrong?

Robino I have the same problem, it seems like the iPhone App for Photosynth is not able to upload. It seems like a bug but I am not sure.

have the same problem (iphone,create a photosynth on device, try to upload, but wont show)..here in Holland. And word if this is a glitch or a bug?

I have a similar problem...I can not upload a pano. I could upload one pano but not a second. I tried renaming it but after multiple tries I only have the one.

I am using ipod touch. Latest gen.

Is it a size limit? I tried to upload a simpler pano and it went up.

Managed to upload 2 panos successfully to website.  The 3rd one doesn't upload. First got an error, then it said it was uploaded, but nothing visible on website.

Having the same problem, have uploaded several successfully but one in particular will not upload. After trying the one that wouldn't upload I tried uploading an earlier one and that uploaded fine, but other one still won't upload when I retried it.

The upload to Photosynth.net doesn't work correct. I press the upload Button, after one second it is finished without any massage. One upload was successfull the other four not.

I too try to upload from my iPhone.
Press upload, but nothing happens.
There doesn't seem to be an alternative way to upload them either.

The one I was having problems with uploading over 3G seemed to upload fine over WiFi.

It's working again. Just a blip I guess.

Failing for me from iPhone 4.  Maybe there is a bug that prevents it from uploading a certain size?  Tried both 3G and wifi.  I was able to get one pano to go, but it will not upload anything else.

Same here. I even created a new Windows Live account and Photosynth user (this one). No success. I can login fine from the iPhone app, but when I try to upload a panorama, the network activity indicator flashes for only a second or so, just as if the transfer is being rejected by the server. And sure enough, the panorama won't show up on photosynth.net after that.

Update: When I pick a new panorama and hit "upload", the network indicator flashes much longer, but still the panorama won't appear in my account. Maybe it's being processed on the server? How long could that take? Hours?

Put up 12 the other day and managed 4 today but can't put any more on. Is there a limit on the number of panoramas you can upload?

It did show up on facebook after a while, can't watch the panorama though and it doesn't show up on the site. It just says "You have not created any public synths yet."

I have one photo uploaded, but I also am not able to load any more. Is there any update to this issue?

My panoramas are now uploaded, but it took few hours before they appeared on the site.

Works for me now, just took a looong time.

The Windows Live login window is not functional. I can put in my name and passord, but I can't do anything with any of the buttons or links on the popup. 

I'm running this on a non-jailbroken iPhone 4. Really disappointing.

@brian, was this login failure before or after you had chosen your Photosynth nickname here on the website?

Was able to upload synths in the past, but cannot for the last week or so. Am running IOS 4.3.3(8J2). I am able to log on to photosynth.net via the iphone (shows I am connected). When I attempt to upload to photosynth.net, the app cycles, then stops. When I press "done", it shows a failed upload attempt.

I created a new photosynth account and logged in on this account from my iPhone 4. When trying to upload panoramas, some work, some don't. No error message. It says "Uploads completed" immediately after I share. They do not turn up on photosynth.net. Any suggestions?

Charisa - FB had a problem with their login system last week that most likely led to your problem.  Let me know if it's still not working for you

LittleTots - My guess is that the panoramas you can't see on your account page were uploaded as unlisted.  Goto your My Photosynths page and then click the sign in link in the header, you should then see all your panoramas.  If you'd like to make them public, click on the Edit button below the viewer (again you need to be signed in), and then click the public radio button.

@terryinedmonton, your account here on Photosynth.net does support unlisted panoramas and photosynths (meaning only you can see them on your profile after you've signed into your account). This will keep them out of search results on the site, invisible to Bing Maps, etc., however anyone that you give the link to will be able to view them.

If that doesn't work for you, then you'll have to settle for sharing the flat version in your camera roll.

Alternately, you could just use your phone to take the input photos (with the regular camera app) and then stitch them into a panorama with Microsoft ICE (free) http://bit.ly.microsoftice That way your panoramas will be much higher quality and you can share the full resolution spherical panorama with anyone else's PC.
