I can't find any way to delete a panorama from the device. Any suggestion?

Touch catalog icon @ bottom left. Now touch EDIT @ top right. Now an X appears on each thumbnail. Simply touch to delete.

That will delete them when stored on the phone iteself. What about the ones that are underneath under the photosynth.net header?

I can't see how to delete them from the phone or on this website as it doesn't show up under My Photosynths

Scratch that comment. I was logged in using a different user account - doh!

Click on edit to name the untitled Photosynth. Once you name the Photosynth select edit a second time. This time an X will show up over the Photosynth and you will be able to delete it.

Hi all,

I'm only your fellow user but maybe I can help you.

I don't have an iOS device, but on the Windows Phone version of the app, when you're looking at your library of panoramas in the mobile app you can do a 'long tap'/'tap and hold' on one of the thumbnails and you should see an option to delete.

Think of it in the same terms as right clicking a file on a desktop or laptop operating system.

Purely by accident I discovered it tonight. In the catalog swipe over the thumbnail to the right. A delete button will appear. Not very intuitive.

To delete photos from photosynth in Iphone you must delete entire app which removes all the photos and then you reinstall the app again.
NateLawrence (7 months ago)
That's not correct, mt650.

You don't have to delete the app (which would delete all of your panoramas on your phone) just to delete a single panorama.

Slide your finger from right to left beside
a panorama and a delete sign will appear.

Confirmed...to delete a photosynth panorama image from your iphone simply swipe over the individual thumbnail of the panorama you want to delete. Swipe right to left and a small red delete button appears. Click delete and done.

The people saying the only option ((to delete unwanted images is by deleting the app)), well they need to review their incorrect responses.

On my iPhone 4s/ iOS 7.1.1 none of the above works. I abhor software that cannot delete things it creates; so I am deleting the app & good riddance.

@tksharpless, if you can provide a video of what you are trying, perhaps someone can help you understand what you are doing wrong.

By default, all incoming and outgoing text messages are saved in iPhone’s internal hard drive. When you delete a message from your iPhone, the phone system will mark it as deleted and you will be unable to view it on your phone. But a special data recovery tool for iPhone can recover deleted text messages from iPhone in a breeze, even if you restore your iPhone to the factory default settings. Therefore, it is very dangerous to resell, donate or abandon your old phone before you permanently delete your private information, because you don’t know who will get your iPhone and what they will do with your old data.

As long as you don’t disable the automatic sync option in iTunes with iPhone Data Recovery, it will automatically generate a backup for your iOS device when you plug your device into your Mac or PC, and the backup file updates along with your every sync. So it is certainly sure and easy to restore iPhone from iTunes backup. That is, you can recover your iPhone/iPad/iPod data from the recent iTunes backup whenever the data is missing.
