I have now uploaded many photos to create 2 synths, but none are showing after I log in again. Am I doing something wrong?

Unfortunately, there's not a search engine for the forum. But if you could search you'd find that this topic has been addressed. Apparently, some synths just don't show up right away. On rare occasions it might even take a day or more! The Photosynth Team is aware of this, so hopefully they will find the fix. If you need it now, synth is again. If not, just wait, it should appear, eventually. If I find the related post, I'll record the URL here. Hope this helps (at least helps you to understand you're not crazy, haha:)

TreborClark, I see three synths on your profile, here:
http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=TreborClark
You'll see this page whenever you click your username in search results, on the forum, or anywhere on photosynth.net except the upper right where you see the 'Sign In' or 'Sign Out' links. Your synths are actually a specific tab within your profile page and the tab's address looks like this:
http://photosynth.net/UserProfilePage.aspx?user=TreborClark&content=Synths

Clicking your username on the upper right of the site (the same place that you click 'Sign In' on the site) you'll be taken to the 'Recent Activity' tab on your profile. Its address looks like this:
http://photosynth.net/UserProfilePage.aspx?user=TreborClark&content=Activity

Other tabs on your profile include:

'Replies to Comments' which highlights the most recent activity on any synth that you have commented on in the past (in your case, the address for this tab is located here:
http://photosynth.net/UserProfilePage.aspx?user=TreborClark&content=Replies

and

'Favorites' which lists all the synths, whether they were made by you or others, which you have 'favorited', by clicking the star next to any synth. This is a handy way to find the amazing or inspiring synths that you admired months ago, as you spend more time here. You never know when someone will change the title of their synth, so having them favorited is the best way to find them again and it helps encourage people when they have made a synth well. Find your Favorites tab here:

The reason that I point out all the tabs is that when you click your name at the top of the site you're pointed at the 'Recent Activity' tab for your synths by default. Understandably, the Photosynth team wants you to know if people have been commenting on your synths, but if no one has commented on any of your synths yet you won't see them listed under this tab because there is no recent activity. Because of this, many people make the mistake of thinking that none of their synths are on the site.

I have requested that the Photosynth web team do something to help people realize that there is more than one tab on their profiles. If you'd like to add your two cents, please add your comments here:

I'm looking forward to seeing more from you in the future!

Also, try the 'View' button in the 'synther' to see new synths when they finish uploading.

By the way, what Swami Worldtraveler is talking about is when you see the progress bar in the synther (the photo uploader) stick at the end with a message about "Publishing Synth". This should almost never happen to you, though. Usually your synths are available for viewing and editing immediately after the synth data finishes uploading.

Since you were able to upload multiple synths, I'm guessing that's not what you were experiencing, but rather just not seeing your synths because of the confusion from the profile page tabs.

Using the synth editor on the site, you can pin your synths on the map, line up the biggest point cloud in your synth with the objects they represent in satellite imagery, add or change tags or description that you forgot to add before uploading, change which image is the first to load when people view your synth, add 'Highlights' which shows your favorite photos in the synth along the right hand side of the synth, and other advanced options.
