Can’t seem to get something to synth right? Curious about what lens is best? Ask your fellow Photosynthers here.
Is it possible to contact another member directly?
Hello, hyperreal, Sadly, no, there is nothing exactly like this. There have been previous requests, if you'd like to add your voice to those. I'll add links to a few of them here: http://photosynth.net/discussion.aspx?cat=01b6f15f-42eb-49cb-a221-ed56615e1c47&dis=a39baa80-7e4f-4a55-9e5c-d18cb6bafb8a http://photosynth.net/discussion.aspx?cat=01b6f15f-42eb-49cb-a221-ed56615e1c47&dis=6b96697b-55a8-4a2e-84f2-4d9b5d222631 http://photosynth.net/discussion.aspx?cat=01b6f15f-42eb-49cb-a221-ed56615e1c47&dis=632404f6-f814-499d-a842-4937e5f1287d One thing that you can do (and every Photosynth member should do) is copy the link to the four RSS feeds on your Photosynth profile page (the little orange boxes) and paste them into an RSS aggregator, whether that is Windows Live Mail, Firefox live bookmarks, Windows Sidebar Gadget, Google News Reader, iTunes, or any other feed reader. That way, every time you open that reader, it will get the latest posts in your feeds.
As long as the RSS feed reader is something you open as often as your email, you should see the activity right away when people post comments on your synth. If you feel comfortable with doing so, you might also consider posting your email address or some other way for people to contact you in your Photosynth biography and encourage others you know to do the same. It doesn't need to be something as public as an email address - just some way for people to get a message to you.
