The walls and the floor were stripped to logs and stomped dirt floor. If someone shouts IKEA-kitchen I say yes.&#10;If the ceiling height looks low you see correct. It&#39;s 223cm - standard of 1900. After leveling the ceiling wich differed ca 13cm from a level line the ceiling height would be about 213cm with the old floor level. Therefore my father got the brillint idea to lower the floor. Look at the threshold at the open doorway.&#10;When making a 360-pano inside I experience a difficulty to get a decent match between images, but I&#39;m not the only one I&#39;ve noticed when looking at others panos. It has to do with ICE have to straighten bent lines and bend straight line I believe."<div class="commentBlock font12">

<div class="commentText">I guess that you wonder how my panoramas can be taken with a cell phone. All my panos are taken with my SLR camera Nikon D90 as seen in my photosynth &#34;My equipment for pano photographing&#34;. As it it&#39;s nine images facing down ICE crops away the tripod legs except for the paws near the floor. It&#39;s not on purpose.</div>

The sky had already begun to be a little hazy. It went from comfortable -15C&#47;5F in the evening to 0C&#47;32F in the morning and in the writing moment it&#39;s like slush in the driveway. &#10;The whole pano is a little bit unfocused - I was freezing my fingers off at the time of shooting. I hope it&#39;s OK anyway.&#10;Camera settings&#58; ISO1600, 1&#47;4sek, F5,6, 38mm, Act. D-light extra high, WB ca 3030K. White balance is a compromise between moon light and lamp light. Not so precise. &#10;The settings are mainly adjusted to make things on the ground correct exposed.&#10;After ten attempts of stitching in ICE with different parameters and each try failing, I excluded the upper row and the lower row and it went well. <div class="commentText">Thanks ankorot&#33; I used a regular tripod with an old videohead atached as the tripod was without head from the beginning. You can se it in my photosynth &#34;My equipment for pano photographing&#34;. When making a 360 spherical I must remove the home made scales and use the scales on the videohead.</div>

Two days ago we got about 200mm snow and the night before yesterday we got about 600mm. In this picture the snow has collapsed to 500mm as it was very fluffy from the beginning. A little thaw and it will allmost disappear. The sky was cloudy at 12&#58;00 but I saw it was clearing up. I rigged my gears and was ready when the sun broke through. One rule I&#39;ve breaken in this pano is that it is a really bad composition, but I wanted to get a reference to other houses. Today &#40;Monday&#41; we have just got 10 cm snow. Let&#39;s see if we can keep it. The last snow disappeared one day after.&#10;The colour of oue house is called &#34;falu red colour&#34;. It is made of cupper, iron ocher, water, wheat flour and linseed oil. It&#39;s the iron ocher that gives the colour and is matt and more dark blood like than in the sunlit picture. After 5-10 years you brush of the colour with a broom before repainting.&#10;&#10;The style of the house is called h&#228;lsinge style, and is most common in this county, H&#228;lsingland. It&#39;s a log frame covered with standing boards that lock each other. In between is traditionaly saw dust but today it&#39;s rockwool. Windows with crossbars and white corners. Gable roof I think it&#39;s called with tiles wich originally were wooden."<div class="commentBlock font12">

We had got our first snow. I kept to my plans and broke about every rule I&#39;ve made up obout shooting panos. It shall be sunny, a clear air and good visability. Otherwise a gigapixel pano is meaningless. I hope it&#39;s accepable anyway.&#10;It looks desolate in this picture and the closest neighbour is about 150 metres but then there are ca 150 houses around in a 1,5 km radius. In Sweden this is a more important day than Christmas Day. Here Santa Claus delivers the presents this day. He either has placed them under the christmas tree before the children have woke or comes with the presents in the evening. It depends on the schedule for the year. Today the temperature is quite mild, 14F&#47;-10C. The day before it was even milder, 32F&#47;0C. It can often be -4F&#47;-20C this time of year but we have been blessed with warm winds from south this beginning of the winter..........Of some reason Santa Claus often comes when dad has gone out to buy the eveningpaper and is gone when dad&#39;s back and dad has never a paper with him.&#33;&#33;&#33;"<div class="commentBlock font12">
