360° on four generations in a nice park

"Nanane, a Belgian great-grandmother, and a few of her 45 children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and spouses, shot on a nice autumn afternoon in a pretty Belgian park. This is a stitch of 120 photos shot with a Nikon D800 and a 50mm f/1.8 lens, using a Ninja 5 pano head on a Gitzo tripod. It was assembled with ICE, then reworked and uploaded with Photoshop."

Fountain of the Giants in Granada

"The Fountain of the Giants, also called Fountain of Neptune, was built in the 16th century originally in an Augustin convent Granada (Andalucia, Spain). Following the demolition of the convent, the fountain was reinstalled in several places, till it ended on Plaza Bibarrambla (Bib-Rambla Place) in 1940. The Bib-Rambla PLace is now a favorite tourist spot with lots of cafés and restaurants. In Moorish times, it held festivals and jousts, and bullfights later in Christian times. This is a pano of 3 photos shot hand held, using a Nikon D800 with a 28-300mm zoom at 55mm. It was stitched with ICE then reworked and uploaded with Photoshop."

Granada and the Alhambra

"This is a late afternoon view of Granada (Andalusia, Spain) and its Alhambra from the viewpoint "Mirador San Nicolas" in the Albayzín district (see a sunset view of this viewpoint at http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=098383b0-9157-403d-87d9-e51dac9cfdba). The Alhambra is a palace and fortress complex located in Granada on the top of the hill of the Assabica on the city's southeastern border. Construction started during the mid 10th century by the Berber ruler Badis ben Habus of the Kingdom of Granada in al-Andalus. Later, Islamic palaces were built for the last Muslim Emirs of the Nasrid dynasty. After the Reconquista by the Catholic kings in 1492, some portions were used by the Christian rulers. Notably, Charles V added a palace within the Nasrid fortifications in 1527. The Alhambra is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. "The Mirador San Nicolas is a famous viewpoint in Granada, Spain. It is located on the top of the Albayzin district, next to the church of San Nicolas. "This photo shows the Court of the Lions in the Alhambra, the Moorish citadel formed by a complex of palaces, gardens and forts in Granada, Spain. It is the main court of the Palace of the Lions, which was commissioned by the Nasrid sultan Muhammed V of the Emirate of Granada in Al-Andalus. Its construction started in the second period of his reign, between 1362 and 1391 AD. 360° view of Mars and Mount Sharp by Curiosity

"The first 360° pano shot on Mars by rover Curiosity from its landing point. I have filled up the sky and fiddled the colors to make Mars look like a sunny beach... This is a 360° pano stitching 140 photos shot by the rover's 34-millimeter Mast Camera. 130 photos were shot on sol 3 (the 3rd Martian day of Curiosity's mission, i.e. 8 August 2012), and the remaining 10, containing Mount Sharp, were shot on sol 13 (18 August). "On June 7 2012 am, the house accomodating the meeting room of the Jehovah's witnesses on 42 rue Quinaux in Schaebeek (Brussels) caught fire. I got to the top floor of the Brusilia residence (the tallest apartment building in Belgium) on time to see, 700 m away (0.6 miles), the firemen putting off the fire. This is a stitch of 8 photos shot with a Nikon D7000, a 600mm f4 lens and a x2 teleconverter. The ICE stitch was reworked then uploaded with Photoshop."
