Yes, I just added a comment to that effect when I geo-tagged the image. The students (and faculty :-) keep around carpets to ride down the slide, since the inside is coated with rubber to decrease the risk of an accidental slide.

Courtyard of the Wawel Castle

"The royal castle on Wawel Hill was the seat of Poland's kings for many centuries. This 16th century Renaissance courtyard is one of the highlights, although some of the interiors are spectacular as well. We visited Krakow in 2004 with my parents and kids, and this is where I first started shooting collections of mutually visible panoramas. You might say that this was the world's first proto-synth. :-) Note that the shots under the arcade don't currently synth together with the rest of the photos."

Scz: thanks for catching this slip, which I hadn't noticed in 5 years! I was wondering why I went back and shot the same scene twice, and hadn't even noticed that they were quite different in appearance.

"Here's a panorama I took from the top of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris while walking around the outside of the top observation deck. Can you see the tourists taking photos from the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral? . . . . . . . . . . . Me neither. I wish I'd brought along a decent telephoto lens and a tripod. I also wish these photos weren't taking in 2003 with a D10, when I could be be shooting today with a EOS-1Ds Mark III (I wish :-). As long as I'm wishing, a haze-free day and a trip to Paris?..."
