Paradise Inn - Back Side, Snow Covered

"This panorama shows the back side of Paradise Inn, Mount Rainier, WA. At around 5500ft this in is a popular place for hikers and visitors during the summer months, but during the winter time it is completely shut down and covered in snow. Kind of reminds me of the shining :) I kind of half expected Jack Nicholson to jump out at me when I walked past it during the night."

Looking back at the lodge, that snow bank is my idea of the sentence, "It snowed."

Anything less should fail to qualify. =)

"Taken from the summit of Mount Adams, around 12,200 feet. This was a tough climb, around 6700ft elevation, we camped on Friday night at the trailhead and climbed with a group of really awesome people."

Glissading was the best bit, it seemed to go on forever, I wished I had video taped it as I was coming down, better than any water park :-)
