"All I wanted to do was show the extreme low tides we have been having! Oh well, I got carried away, again. This would be a nightmare to navigate without the Highlights feature. I really should have taken out a lot more photos, but.................... Highlights include a Portuguese Man o War BAD STING!!! A few Sea Anemone's Lots of wind and water eroded rocks. Tobacco Bay is located in the far north of Bermuda. It lies on the Atlantic Ocean coast, close to the town of St. George's and to the historic Fort St. Catherine. One of Bermuda's national parks, it is a popular public beach. Snorkelling is a popular activity, as the bay has impressive underwater coral reefs, which explains its popularity with those who snorkel. The bay has an interesting history and was intimately connected with Bermuda's "Gunpowder Plot". On August 14, 1775, a group of Bermudians sympathetic to the independentist cause of the American Continental Congress stole gunpowder from the British Magazine in St. George's, rolled it across the island to Tobacco Bay and shipped it to America."

Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity (Bermuda)

"Be sure to use the highlights feature, this is a VERY big synth and thus hard to navigate! Bermuda Church of the Most Holy Trinity, or 'The Cathedral' as it is known today, is not the original building. The first structure was started in 1844, completed in 1883, and then destroyed by an arsonist in 1884. The present-day Cathedral was designed by William Hay, its foundation stone laid on May 1, 1886, and the first phase completed in 1894. The church was commissioned as the Bermuda Cathedral that year, finally completed in 1905, and consecrated in 1911. The plan of the church is a Roman Cross, and although the architecture is Neo-Gothic as opposed to bermudian, most of it is built of bermuda limestone from the Par-La-Ville quarry. However, the stone around the windows, doors, and the rings of the arches, cornices and gables, is Caen stone from Normandy, France."

Douglas, I was a newspaper photographer in the 80's...........After I gave it up I swore I would never pick up a camera again..............then a group of people decided to create a great program called Photosynth...............................nuff said!

Thanks dariusmonsef, as I drive around Bermuda I sometimes want to just stop and just start photographing interesting scenes that look like they would synth well.
