Linear polarizer placed inside extension tubes. Mirror lockup, 2nd curtain shutter and remote control cable used to minimize vibration. Specimen illuminated with 4 LEDs with simple paper cylinder diffusion. 2790 separate 1 second exposures focus stacked and merged into a single 1.09 gigapixel image of the left dorsal view. Image duplicated and flipped horizontally to make a 2.19 gigapixel image. Contrast, color, and sharpening adjustments applied.
