The sky was cloudy at 12:00 but I saw it was clearing up. I rigged my gears and was ready when the sun broke through. One rule I've breaken in this pano is that it is a really bad composition, but I wanted to get a reference to other houses. Today (Monday) we have just got 10 cm snow. Let's see if we can keep it. The last snow disappeared one day after.
The colour of oue house is called "falu red colour". It is made of cupper, iron ocher, water, wheat flour and linseed oil. It's the iron ocher that gives the colour and is matt and more dark blood like than in the sunlit picture. After 5-10 years you brush of the colour with a broom before repainting.

The style of the house is called hälsinge style, and is most common in this county, Hälsingland. It's a log frame covered with standing boards that lock each other. In between is traditionaly saw dust but today it's rockwool. Windows with crossbars and white corners. Gable roof I think it's called with tiles wich originally were wooden."

<a10:updated>2012-10-29T20:54:45Z</a10:updated><a10:content type="text/html" src="http://photosynth.net/view/7110874c-f9bb-4be8-b3c5-1d70b10e40e8" />

<a10:author><a10:name>trophy78</a10:name><a10:uri>http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=trophy78</a10:uri></a10:author>
Saint Isaac's Cathedral or Isaakievskiy Sobor

<img src="http://cdn2.ps1.photosynth.net/pano/c01001200-ACQbs4sllCk/thumb.jpg" alt="Saint Isaac's Cathedral or Isaakievskiy Sobor" title"Saint Isaac's Cathedral or Isaakievskiy Sobor" /> by trophy78

<a10:updated>2012-08-28T21:30:26Z</a10:updated><a10:content type="text/html" src="http://photosynth.net/view/2530bef3-d4c3-4055-ac11-3a16b9dcf883" />

<a10:author><a10:name>Windows.Creative.Gallery</a10:name><a10:uri>http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=Windows.Creative.Gallery</a10:uri></a10:author>
Windows Creative Gallery - Palais de Tokyo

<img src="http://cdn2.ps1.photosynth.net/pano/c01001200-AGIckUQSwyo/thumb.jpg" alt="Windows Creative Gallery - Palais de Tokyo" title"Windows Creative Gallery - Palais de Tokyo" /> by Windows.Creative.Gallery

<a10:updated>2012-10-26T17:24:24Z</a10:updated><a10:content type="text/html" src="http://photosynth.net/view/d6eb5133-e6f6-4844-bab1-49ade0be08a6" />

<a10:author><a10:name>MagiView</a10:name><a10:uri>http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=MagiView</a10:uri></a10:author>
360° on four generations in a nice park

<img src="http://cdn1.ps1.photosynth.net/pano/c01001100-AHMc9A3d1io/thumb.jpg" alt="360° on four generations in a nice park" title"360° on four generations in a nice park" /> by MagiView "Nanane, a Belgian great-grandmother, and a few of her 45 children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and spouses, shot on a nice autumn afternoon in a pretty Belgian park.

This is a stitch of 120 photos shot with a Nikon D800 and a 50mm f/1.8 lens, using a Ninja 5 pano head on a Gitzo tripod. Later, Islamic palaces were built for the last Muslim Emirs of the Nasrid dynasty.

After the Reconquista by the Catholic kings in 1492, some portions were used by the Christian rulers.
