Although the fabulous caravans no longer pass this way, the colour and activity of these markets and stalls recall those romantic times. On wandering through the small, narrow alleyways one might see, hear, smell and taste life as it has been for many centuries. From the souq of Aswan, a visitor can pick up everything from scents, spices, perfumes and scarves, to baskets and fine alabaster. Although the shop owner looks quite grim, together with my guide Monzer from Aswan we had a lot of fun arranging the shop for taking the 360° panorama image."

<a10:updated>2010-12-03T00:14:18Z</a10:updated><a10:content type="text/html" src="http://photosynth.net/view/b88d629d-b934-4b60-b621-12fb4bb682a3" />

<a10:author><a10:name>EchelonATStuttgart</a10:name><a10:uri>http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=EchelonATStuttgart</a10:uri></a10:author>
Aussicht vom Württemberg

<img src="http://cdn4.ps1.photosynth.net/pano/c01001400-APsLD7hpfCM/thumb.jpg" alt="Aussicht vom Württemberg" title"Aussicht vom Württemberg" /> by EchelonATStuttgart "View from the Grabkapelle Württemberg, you can see the Mercedes-Benz Reihenmotorenwerk Untertürkheim, the television tower Stuttgart, the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the Cannstatter Wasen (Volksfest), Powerplant Stuttgart-Münster, Stuttgart Birkenkopf (Monte Scherbelino) and more"

<a10:updated>2010-10-11T13:33:07Z</a10:updated><a10:content type="text/html" src="http://photosynth.net/view/cea404a0-9a08-45bf-94b9-4aab990467e4" />

<a10:author><a10:name>Jonathan</a10:name><a10:uri>http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=Jonathan</a10:uri></a10:author>
Antwerp Groenplaats

<img src="http://cdn2.ps1.photosynth.net/pano/c01001200-AFAUHoobniM/thumb.jpg" alt="Antwerp Groenplaats " title"Antwerp Groenplaats " /> by Jonathan "The central square in Antwerp. Crystal Rapid was changed from a placid riffle into an enormous rapid with deadly consequences. High water events in 1983 and 1996 further transformed the rapid into what we see today. Run properly, Crystal is the least dramatic large rapid in the Canyon. One mistake can easily lead a raft into the large hole visible in this image. Rafts in this hole often flip over, which sends passengers and gear downstream into the Class 4 rapid and boulder field below where safe recovery can very difficult. Rafters use a narrow channel on river right to bypass the two large holes in Crystal, but bumping into shallow rocks can send a raft back into the current towards the hole. Several members of our party climbed above this falls to explore the beautiful side canyon further while I shot this GigaPan.
