This is the view from the top. You can't see too much of the inside of the crater because the snow cornice was so huge, it extended about 8-10 feet into the crater, blocking the view below."

<a10:updated>2011-08-03T12:49:07Z</a10:updated><a10:content type="text/html" src="http://photosynth.net/view/3a0a2c85-3f3f-4e70-a2b6-88a80262de0e" />

<a10:author><a10:name>Bodeene</a10:name><a10:uri>http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=Bodeene</a10:uri></a10:author>
St. Francis Xavier University

<img src="http://cdn1.ps1.photosynth.net/pano/c01001100-AD4BafJ3ciM/thumb.jpg" alt="St. Francis Xavier University" title"St. Francis Xavier University" /> by Bodeene

<a10:updated>2011-07-01T14:24:25Z</a10:updated><a10:content type="text/html" src="http://photosynth.net/view/92944fa3-1898-4bba-a725-009ed676a9e0" />

<a10:author><a10:name>mattu</a10:name><a10:uri>http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=mattu</a10:uri></a10:author>
Yosemite Glacier Point

<img src="http://cdn3.ps1.photosynth.net/pano/c01001300-APwHJcaReSM/thumb.jpg" alt="Yosemite Glacier Point" title"Yosemite Glacier Point" /> by mattu "This 10Gigapixel image is a merge of 659 22Mpixel images shot with Canon 1ds MarkIII. We modified a Meade telescope mount to automatically rotate the camera. We were parked at the corner of the glacier point balcony for about 90 minutes to capture this. The stitching was done via Microsoft ICE and took about 2 hours on an 8 core machine.

A blog post describing this in some more detail is available here: http://hdview.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!1AD33AA162CE96C2!611.entry

A video describing the camera and stitching technology is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5UUrxL_2t0"

<a10:updated>2010-03-18T19:28:38Z</a10:updated><a10:content type="text/html" src="http://photosynth.net/view/1592a782-1ed6-457b-9023-31424db7ec34" />
