by Sphynctre "I just received my signed copy of "Life of Pi" in the mail yesterday and I was so excited. If you haven't read this book, you should. I'm not a "reader", or a bibliophile of any kind. I can barely stand reading a news article. I can read a hundred pages of text on my computer each day, but if I read just a few pages of a book, I fall asleep within minutes... weird. This is one of the few books that I've started, completed, and ENJOYED! Anyway, since my current obsession is Photosynth, I decided to create a synth of the book even before reading a single word inside of it. Photosynth... it's like crack for normal people."

by Sphynctre "This is one of our Halloween decorations. He was affectionately named "Spooky" by my then 3 year old daughter. He lives in our cemetary for the week prior to Halloween, and gets put away for the next 11 months and 3 weeks following Halloween. He's a latex coated, foam-filled, hand painted torso which sits on the ground as if he were half-buried. My wife did the paint job. He's got a few friends in the cemetary as well. "Doug" can also be found in my synth collection. Check out the point cloud by pressing "P" a time or two."

by Sphynctre "Here's another one of our Halloween decorations. His name is "Doug". The name is simple - it because it looks like he "dug" his way out of his grave. He's usually positioned near the front of our cemetary since he's one of our best props. He's made of foam-filled latex, and he's hand-painted by my wife. My two daughters really like this one.
