Josaphat Park in Schaerbeek, Brussels

by Brusilia "Josaphat Park is a public park located in the municipality of Schaerbeek in Brussels, Belgium. It was designed by Edmond Galoppin and inaugurated by King Leopold II in 1904. This is a stitch of 640 photos shot just before sunset from the 34th floor of the nearby Brusilia building in Brussels. It covers a horizontal span of about 76°. I used a Nikon D7000 with a 80-400mm lens at 400mm and a Gigapan Epic Pro motorized head. The pano was generated with ICE then saved as PSB. It usually gets covered with snow only a few days a year, generally cloudy ones. However in January 2013, it remained snowy for two weeks and there happened to be one clear and sunny morning where luckily, I was there to shoot it! This pano is a stitch of 14 photos shot 30 minutes before sunrise from the 34th floor of the nearby Brusilia building in Brussels, using a Nikon D800 with a 50mm lens and a Ninja 5 pano head. It covers a span of about 146° horizontally. It was generated with ICE then saved as PSB. by MagiView "The Alhambra is a palace and fortress complex located in Granada (Andalusia, Spain), on the top of the hill of the Assabica on the city's southeastern border. Construction started during the mid 10th century by the Berber ruler Badis ben Habus of the Kingdom of Granada in al-Andalus. Later, Islamic palaces were built for the last Muslim Emirs of the Nasrid dynasty. After the Reconquista by the Catholic kings in 1492, some portions were used by the Christian rulers. Notably, Charles V added a palace within the Nasrid fortifications in 1527. The Alhambra is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a pano of 4 photos shot hand held, leaning on a wall, from the Mirador San Nicolas in the Albayzín district (see http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=098383b0-9157-403d-87d9-e51dac9cfdba). I used a Nikon D800 with a 28-300mm zoom at 100mm. It was stitched with ICE then reworked and uploaded with Photoshop. 360° place Saint-Barthélemy à Liège

by MagiView-Liege "La collégiale Saint-Barthélemy de Liège fut construite en dehors des murs de la cité dans le style ottonien durant les XIe et XIIe siècle. Ses tours jumelles de style rhénan furent rajoutées en 1876. L'église est rénovée dans ses couleurs d'origine en 2006. L'intérieur de style baroque français abrite un chef-d'œuvre de l'Art Mosan: les Fonts baptismaux de Saint-Barthélemy. Ce pano est constitué de 23 photos prises depuis la Place Saint Barthélémy avec un Nikon D800E et un 20mm Nikkor f/2.8. C'est mon premier pano sphérique - d'où les quelques défaults!"

L'église est actuellement affectée à l'école d'hôtellerie de la Ville de Liège. Autrefois c'était l'église du couvent des Carmes déchaussés. De nombreuses parties sont encore d'époque romane. Curieusement, la butte sur laquelle elle se trouve est en train d'être creusée par la municipalité, ce qui fait que la chapelle semble maintenant être posée sur un étrange promontoire.
