by stringcraft "Microsoft Live Labs is split between two sites in the Seattle area. It's no mere metaphor that research happens in ivory towers. The Smith tower is an ivory colored tower built in 1914 in Pioneer Square in Seattle. On the Eastside we are in a tall tower in Bellevue that is complete with the best cafeteria view that I could ever imagine. The caftereia is on the 28th floor and has an outside deck. It being Seattle, when the sun shines the deck is popular. The group seated is folks from the Windows audio team."
