Baker neighborhood in Seattle, which borders Lake Washington. Many Seattleites also see these mountains when commuting across the lake on the floating bridges. I&#8217;ve been doing this drive for 15 years but didn&#8217;t know the names of many of the peaks. &#10;&#10;So, after stitching this I called on Larry Robinson &#40;http&#58;&#47;&#47;photosynth.net&#47;userprofilepage.aspx&#63;user&#61;Larry_R&#41; for help. I&#8217;d previously admired Larry&#8217;s labeled panoramas of the Cascades here on Photosynth and on his website&#58; http&#58;&#47;&#47;www.larryscascaderesource.com&#47;. Larry took the GPS coordinates of my shooting location and used National Geographic Topo&#33; to find the bearings &#40;http&#58;&#47;&#47;bit.ly&#47;tNSRbB&#41; to the various features to determine what is visible in this image. He then added the labels to the image using Photoshop. As a final check, we called upon John Roper &#40;http&#58;&#47;&#47;www.rhinoclimbs.com&#47;rhino.html&#41; to verify the work and give some suggestions for the more esoteric names. Many of the peaks identified in this image do have one or more alternate names&#59; to keep things simple we tried to pick the most commonly used one.&#10;&#10;In case you want to find these on a map, many of the peaks labeled here are also captured in a Bing Maps collection&#58; http&#58;&#47;&#47;www.bing.com&#47;maps&#47;&#63;cid&#61;D4509C171DB14E97&#33;774 &#10;&#10;This was shot from Mt. Baker Ridge in Seattle on 11&#47;5&#47;2011 from 4&#58;47&#8211;4&#58;54 p.m. The location was about 100 yards from this Photosynth which was shot a few minutes earlier&#58; http&#58;&#47;&#47;photosynth.net&#47;view.aspx&#63;cid&#61;f1a4d519-9ab7-438e-9874-e70df1ebae90&#10;&#10;Software&#58; &#10;-RAW processing in Adobe Camera RAW&#10;-84 x 25MPix tiff images stitched by Microsoft ICE&#10;-Labels added in Photoshop &#40;Larry&#41;&#10;-National Geographic Topo&#33; for bearings &#40;Larry&#41;&#10;&#10;Hardware&#58; Gigapan Epic Pro, Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III &#40;at f&#47;9, ISO-640, aperture priority&#41;, and 300mm lens with 2x extender."

<a10:updated>2011-11-20T21:26:59Z</a10:updated><a10:content type="text/html" src="http://photosynth.net/view/fa9d187f-9a68-44e8-b8cc-ac5078d919f4" />

<a10:author><a10:name>garretbaquet</a10:name><a10:uri>http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=garretbaquet</a10:uri></a10:author>
Times Square - Garden - HDR - Panorama

<a href="http://photosynth.net/view/6e011aab-ce64-447c-813e-7452bd2c1c5b"><img src="http://cdn2.ps1.photosynth.net/pano/c01001200-AJMUSVPQtCM/thumb.jpg" alt="Times Square - Garden - HDR - Panorama" title"Times Square - Garden - HDR - Panorama" /></a> by <a href="http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=garretbaquet">garretbaquet</a> "This was approximately 60 exposures.&#10;&#10;3 Exposures of the same spot combined to create and HDR image. then, all 20 Images were stitched together and tinkered with i photoshop.&#10;&#10;If someone is not blurred, it is because there did not move during the 3 exposures... 5sec, 10 and 20 seconds&#10;&#10;&#10;Times Square, rose Garden, HDR"

<a10:updated>2011-11-10T15:40:07Z</a10:updated><a10:content type="text/html" src="http://photosynth.net/view/6e011aab-ce64-447c-813e-7452bd2c1c5b" />

<a10:author><a10:name>garretbaquet</a10:name><a10:uri>http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=garretbaquet</a10:uri></a10:author>
Brooklyn Bridge Nov 8th 2011

<a href="http://photosynth.net/view/8b595a19-7218-4ae7-bdce-bd924671ca24"><img src="http://cdn4.ps1.photosynth.net/pano/c01001400-AIcU1lZprCM/thumb.jpg" alt="Brooklyn Bridge Nov 8th 2011" title"Brooklyn Bridge Nov 8th 2011" /></a> by <a href="http://photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=garretbaquet">garretbaquet</a> "Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Garret Baquet, Night Photography, HDR, long exposure.&#10;&#10;30 Images total &#40;10 HDRi&#39;s&#41;&#10;HDRi made of 3 exposures &#40;1sec, 3sec, 10sec&#41;&#10;&#10;F 4.5&#10;ISO100&#10;Canon 5DMKII&#10;16MM &#40;16-35&#41;&#10;&#10;&#40;Overlapped the images about 1&#47;3 to 1&#47;4&#41;&#10;&#10;Raw images for the HDR processing... there seems to be a lot less noise when using CR2, NEF files. Be sure to assign the right color profile to Raw Import. Batch processed the 30 images and imported into lightroom for final adjustments... decrease saturation, white balance, film grain, curves adjusted to make lights ligher and decrease highlights a bit and lighten shadows. &#10;&#10;With the same basic settings in a different location, here is what the &#43;2 EV images look like in panorama.
