by Sphynctre "I just received my signed copy of "Life of Pi" in the mail yesterday and I was so excited. If you haven't read this book, you should. I'm not a "reader", or a bibliophile of any kind. I can barely stand reading a news article. I can read a hundred pages of text on my computer each day, but if I read just a few pages of a book, I fall asleep within minutes... weird. This is one of the few books that I've started, completed, and ENJOYED! Anyway, since my current obsession is Photosynth, I decided to create a synth of the book even before reading a single word inside of it. Photosynth... it's like crack for normal people."

Funny you mention that Cubby1996... now that I think about it, 217 photos in 10 minutes averages 1 photo every 2.76 seconds. I'm going to make a new estimate of 5-6 minutes to take the photos, and 1 hour to synth. My camera can do about 3 photos per second in good light, but I was probably shooting at more like 1 shot every second or two as I moved around the book.
