I have performed Christmas Parties for the Bermuda Regiment, Bermuda Police Club, Exempt Companies, Royal Hamilton Amature and Dinghy Clubs, and also the Princess Hotel's for there "guests" children while the parents are attending Conventions. I wonder how out of 37 photos, you were able to get such an awesomely dense mesh out of a sparse mesh system. very good job :)

Bermuda Botanical Gardens Originally opened in 1898 the Bermuda Botanical Gardens feature 36 acres of trees, flowers and shrubs. All are clearly labelled making it the place to come if you want to identify the fantastic flora you have seen on your Bermuda vacation. John Lennon visited the gardens in 1980 and named his subsequent album ‘Double Fantasy’ after a flower he spotted here. There’s a palm garden featuring native palmetto trees, a flowering hibiscus garden, a rose garden, a frangipani collection, banyan trees and an enormous ficus tree. The Garden for the Sightless is a sensory garden designed primarily for the benefit of the blind. All the signs are in Braille and the garden abounds with fragrant flowers and aromatic herbs. There are several greenhouses filled with collections of cacti and orchids and the gardens also has an aviary."

Fantastic - if you view the point cloud statue from behind you get the hollow-face illusion which is a bit freaky!

Martello Tower: Inside & Out

There is a Martello located at Ferry Reach in St George's Parish. It was completed in the 1820s. Martello towers (or simply Martellos) are small defensive forts built in several countries of the British Empire during the 19th century, from the time of the Napoleonic Wars onwards. They stand up to 40 feet (12m) high (with two floors) and typically had a garrison of one officer and 15-25 men. Their round structure and thick walls of solid masonry made them resistant to cannon fire, while their height made them an ideal platform for a single heavy artillery piece, mounted on the flat roof and able to traverse a 360° arc. A few Martello towers were surrounded by a moat for extra defence. They were used throughout the 19th century, but became obsolete with the introduction of powerful rifled artillery. Many have survived to the present day, often preserved as historic monuments."

Raglan Castle

A lavish proclamation of the success of an entrepreneurial Welsh family, it was begun, probably on the site of a small Norman castle, during the 1430's by Sir William ap Thomas. This opportunistic veteran of the French wars raised its mighty "Yellow Tower" (yet known also as "Great Tower"), a moated stronghold equipped with up-to-date gunports and a unique hexagonal plan with elaborate double drawbridge arrangements. His still more successful son William Lord Herbert, Yorkist viceroy in Wales during the War of the Roses, added a palatial double courtyard mansion, luxurious within but defended by a formidable gatehouse and many towered walls. Like his father, he imitated fashionable French building styles and employed expert masons whose trademarks can still be seen on Raglan's finely dressed sandstone walls. Built regardless of cost and sumptuously embellished with carving, the castle became still more splendid under Herbert's Elizabethian descendants, who added a lordly banqueting hall and other fashionable apartments, hints of this splendor can be seen in the windows, the moulded roof corbels and huge fireplaces. Other notable features of the castle include the Fountain Court, the Pitched Stone Court, a buttery, pantry, Kitchen Tower, Closet Tower, office wing, South Gate, Chapel and State Apartments. Yet Raglan remained a fortress, enduring a fierce thirteen week siege during the Civil War. The strongly built Yellow Tower shrugged off bombardment by heavy artillery and when the castle surrendered to Parliament, had to be laboriously undermined before two of its six sides fells down 'in a lump'. The strength and high quality of this splendid monument to medieval family pride is indeed still obvious today."

Nice article. Raglan Castle is a magnificent late medieval fortress lying 7 miles west of the Monmouth in the south Wales.

You can clone as much as you want, limited only by hardware... and the graciousness of the model :) The board shows my favorite pro game, played by Fujisawa Shuko (藤澤秀行, White) and Nie Wei Ping (聶衛平, Black) on Nov 20, 1988. It's a beautiful game because Nie sacrificed his 5 stones in the center for the huge lower right framework -- the level required for this superb judgement is amazing. Fujisawa: June 14,1925 - May 8,2009."

by Nathanael "Hmm. This was less synthy than I'd hoped it would be. Chalk it up to blurry photos, I suppose. While on the return trail out of the Trees of Mystery I found this decomposing bit of what I assume is Redwood, which I found strange as I had read a plaque just a few stops back which boasted that they were impervious to termites and other common natural forms of destruction. I was hoping that the wood grain and dust that was in high supply would give me a nice dense point cloud but my shaky camera seems to have ruled it out. A shame. Also I had to throw in cropped copies of two of the photos to get the full shots of the sign (which inspired the above title) to synth in with the rest because I hadn't taken the photos originally to tie them in. It worked but it's a bit of an ugly cheat."

Possible, but I remember Paul Harvey pretty well.

What I'm remembering, I'm slightly ashamed to say, was (I now recall) on Rick Dees and the Weekly Top 40, although who knows if he was sampling something or recorded it in studio.
