This is such a great pic. I have went back several times, wondering how it was made. Have even thought, if I had a copy of it, I would drop it into Autocad and plot it maybe 8 feet long and hang it on my office wall. I am a map-maker and work in Louisa, Ky. John

Thanks for your comment. For more information see my weblog www.zienenweten.blogspot.com Those trees are around 2000 years old and were covered by sand and gravel in an old riverbed from the Maas in the south of Netherlands close to the village Stevensweert.
They were digged out by a gravelwinning company.

Sorry John,
As I'm trying to improve this sytnh, I deleted Belouga's pictures...I'm adding new pictures with Belouga and A380 jet . (11:45pm, Toulouse time)
