"A view of the pool area and beach at the Kaanapali Alii Resort condominiums on Maui, Hawaii. This pano was shot in aperture priority automatic exposure mode. It creates some banding in the skyline, but helps tone map the wide dynamic range between the sunlit ocean and background and the foreground shadow areas - over 5 stops of difference."

great photograph. did you take lots of shots seperately or did you have multiple cameras to get everything at the same time. also how did you get so good quality you can zoom for miles and still read the small writing

"A view of downtown Bellevue looking East from the 16th floor of Lincoln Square. This is my first panorama with the new Gigapan Epic Pro controlling a Canon EOS 1Ds Mk III with a 70-200 lens. This is a huge quality improvement compared to my previous pano of this same scene shot with the original Gigapan and Canon G9."

rawmediastudios: This is stitched with ICE from Microsoft Research. http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/redmond/groups/ivm/ice/. Not only does it do a great (and very fast) job of stitching, it's the tool that lets you upload directly to Photosynth. I have several different stitching programs, and ICE is by far the best.

Wow it's remarkable that Microsoft's ICE put all 200 pics that you took into this beautiful panorama view! You took a lot of great shots and thanks for the tags explaining some of the locations! Surprised you did not get more comments on here.
