Horses on Parade Look-Alike on University

"While not originally one of the Horses on Parade, this horse is nevertheless listed on the PTI website, so I imaged it while I was out today participating in the Picture the Impossible scavenger hunt. This look-alike is located on University near the George Eastman House. The lighting conditions at the time were excellent- it was cloudy, so the sun was not reflecting off the fiberglass horses surface, but a very comfortable temperature."

"Had just finished the Picture the Impossible scavenger hunt for the week, and stopped by to image this horse on our way out. It was a cloudy day, though very comfortable, and just about perfect for shooting, as the sun was not reflecting brightly off the horse. This fiberglass horse was part of Horses on Parade in Rochester, NY, in 2001. The horse was named Chubby, which is written on its side, and it was painted by Vincent Massaro."

"It was a wet, partly cloudy day when I set out to image this horse as part of Picture the Impossible. This fiberglass horse was part of Horses on Parade in Rochester, NY, in 2001. The horse is located in a small garden outside of Margarets House Day Care Center on the Rochester Institute of Technology campus. Painted by Robert C. Whiteside, the horses colors have now faded slightly, and in many places the paint is scratched, cracking, or chipping. I felt awkward taking my 131 pictures of the horse, as I got many weird looks, and I felt like a creeper hiding in the bushes with a camera."
