Thanks I was quite surprised how well it worked given some of those images were max zoom on my Canon S70 and the repetitive pattern on the "sails". Now I've seen Photosynth could handle this I may have to try more subjects just to see if they work.

nicely done, it's hard to pare down and 61 photos for a complete exterior is very good.

"Sadly, as I expected, the interior shots didn't join to the exterior, or even each other. Perhaps one day I'll get a chance to revisit this with an ultra wide angle lens and try again."

"These photos took two walks in (750m) to complete as I left my Nexto UX in the car the first time. I hope everyone likes it. The interior didn't synth as well so I've left that in a separate synth here: http://tinyurl.com/arxa7m Description taken from Parks Victoria website (http://www.parkweb.vic.gov.au/1process_details.cfm?place=164): Wallaces Hut is the oldest of the huts still standing in the Alpine National Park and is classified under the National Trust. It was built by the Wallace Brothers in 1889, close to the Bogong High Plains Road just out of Falls Creek, from slabs of snowgum. In the 1930's its woollybutt roof shingles were replaced by the SEC when it was taken over as a workers' hut. Now it serves as a refuge and slice of human history nestled in wild country."

Just noticed sumthin interestin. Original pic orientation doesn't matter for the synth, but does in Grid View. I've noticed that Photosynth does not respect the meta data for image orientation, so I have been rotating mine in Windows Explorer. Will continue to do so, since Grid View has its place, too. Well, anyhow, just thought I'd point this out, in case others were unaware, as I was till just a moment ago.
