"The centre section of the pier collapsed in a storm in Decemeber 2002 in Early 2003 a fire destroyed the the seaward end. This was shot on film on the Easter public holiday, scanned, and assembled as a a panorama using Microsoft ICE. This picture is offered for reproduction for a fee of £10,000. You may accept this offer by reproducing it without first negotiating a lower fee."

"Microsoft UK held their annual conference this year in the Dome at Brighton. The dome was built as the Royal Stables for the Royal Pavilion so at Lunch time I dashed out and fired off 275 photos over about 40 minutes. I grew up in Brighton, but I haven't been past the Pavilion in 20 years or more, so I only a vague plan of how I was going to shoot it -I remembered the gardens as grass, but they've got some small trees and shrubs which meant finding an angle where I could get enough in to be interesting and link to another group of shots was the hardest part. All things considered I think it's come out quite well"

" Paul Foster was co-ordinating a shoot of the London eye, and asked a couple of us to help him (he as more results on his page photosynth.net/userprofilepage.aspx?user=Paulfo ) I decided to go via embankment tube station and walk along the North bank, to Westminster bridge and past old county hall on the way. The light was horrible, and compounded by the fact I'd left my camera set for another shoot. Still... Not a bad synth "

"This is where I work :-) The photos were shot on 3 different days in 2007 (May 1st, April 30th, and March 27th) and with a view to working with one of the early prototypes of photosynth. That version did not do very well at joining the pictures together. This was built with the first public release which did rather better. Interesting the march shoot was 173 Photos, 89% sythy - 154 made it to the synth. The April/May shoot was 168 photos and 38% synthy - so 64 made it to the synth. Taken together the 341 are 68% sythy - 232 pictures made it to this synth against the 218 when the two are done in parts. "

It's a very interesting synth, but it would be good an indoor synth.
