"Vålsjö watermill from ca 200 meter distance. The sun is just disappering behind Järvsöklacken behind my back. An impressive fall of ca 30 meters. You can hardly hear a cell phone buzz threw the thunder."

Hyboklacken from the middle of the lake in the setting sun on the last ice

"On the last walk on the moaning ice. Usually this time of the year all snow is gone and the ice is black and you drop through it like through a paper. At this point the ice is white transparent and solid. It's fresh cartracks on the ice. At about 7:30PM (summertime) the sun reaches the north side of Hyboklacken from a low angle, and it's probably the last time this year I can stand in the middle of Hybolake and shoot a pano. The whole pano is a bit twilight but it is a setting sun. Settings: ISO-500, F/13, 1/250 sek, Focal length 300mm"

"I can't make Hyboklacken higher than this. With view from the ice on hybosjön a bit from northeast with the late morning, early midday sun shining on the north side of Hyboklacken. Any wich way Hyboklacken is only 285 meters above sea level and 160 meters above lakesurface. At this angle it looks the highest. One year ago all snow was gone and the ice was black and unsecure. Now it looks like this. I walked a few meters beside the lake ice to get the desired angle when the crusted snow broke and I was standing two and a half feet deep in the snow. Dry snow fortunately. After a relatively warm and snowy winter we have rather cold spring, -10C/+14F at night and +5C/+41F at midday today."

At the old sawmill

"Shooting date March 10th. The old sawmill seen from the lake side. This factory once employed 150-200 persons. Now its a storage place for chopped wood for sale behind the red plank. The building in the pano is not the actual sawmill. Possibly a workshop . In the mill-house worked 120 persons and outside about another 100 persons.On the foundations in the water stood the collumns to the travers that lifted up and loaded pulpwood on wagons on rail."

At the old flux factory

"A closeup at the old flux factory in Hybo. The office building in front blocks the view of the actual factory building but if I moved either to the left or the right there are a lot of trees blocking the view from those directions."

"On a marvellously beautiful saturday midday with a perfect temperature of -2C/28F I just had to go out and make a pano. You could shoot without gloves. It is a 376 images pano. The pano has 8 rows wich makes it wide and narrow. The pano took 38 minutes to shoot wich makes 9 images per minute. It is a bit of speed shooting when I don't look in the viewer, just the scales and trust that all images becomes good. I wonder how fast you can take pictures with a gigapan head or something similar. It works quite good with the home made scales on the videohead, I just can't go and take a cup of coffe as the images are shot. I'm standing about 100 meters from land and and all details fit in just one row of the pano. It may be a little dull pano, I hope it's not too crappy. Ideal when making a pano like this would be to have a ten meters mast but then I wouldn't be able to shoot manually."

"Excuse me for uploading a totaly boring view from the centre of Hybo. At -20C/-4F it's quite lifeless outdoor in Hybo. Anyway the settings are: ISO200, F/11, 1/125sek, Focallength 18mm, WB sunny, It took about thirteen minutes to shoot 81 images at half past one ca."

"Inspired by reidcc's Post Christmas Living Room I desided to make one of my own. You can see how the straw goats and the Santas look tired and exhausted and longing for a long rest in some cupboard. Camera settings: ISO-400, F/11, 1/2 sek, Focallength 25mm, WB lightbulb. With a mix of lightsources the white ballance is a compromise. With this pano I have a 50% overlap instead of 30% as usual for me between images, side by side and over/under, to see if there would be a difference in stitching. I don't thing it made any difference. What's difficult with a indoorpano is that there are objects on different distances so close to the camera so you get a paralax error. That's my theory."

Inside - our kitchen

"This is how our kitchen looks like after renovating and renewal 2001. The walls and the floor were stripped to logs and stomped dirt floor. If someone shouts IKEA-kitchen I say yes. If the ceiling height looks low you see correct. It's 223cm - standard of 1900. After leveling the ceiling wich differed ca 13cm from a level line the ceiling height would be about 213cm with the old floor level. Therefore my father got the brillint idea to lower the floor. Look at the threshold at the open doorway. When making a 360-pano inside I experience a difficulty to get a decent match between images, but I'm not the only one I've noticed when looking at others panos. It has to do with ICE have to straighten bent lines and bend straight line I believe."

I guess that you wonder how my panoramas can be taken with a cell phone. All my panos are taken with my SLR camera Nikon D90 as seen in my photosynth "My equipment for pano photographing". As it it's nine images facing down ICE crops away the tripod legs except for the paws near the floor. It's not on purpose.
