The fort is in private ownership and the field within the boundary of the Scheduled Monument is cultivated. &amp;#10;&amp;#10;The slopes are rough grassland and the surrounding land is agricultural fields with hedgerows and walls.  To the immediate north west of the site is Old Pale Heights, a former farm now converted to residential uses, whilst Eddisbury Hill farm buildings are to the south east of the hillfort.
