The problem with photosynth is, that it likes textures too much. That's why the car doesn't have many points, because cars are naturally smooth.

Very Cool. I think I want to do this with my car. 3D mode doesn't seem to put points on the smooth paint finish though...

I like it that the pointcloud reveals an indentation in the wall. Something you really can't see in 2D photo's.

Very nice! I like the shadow as well, gives it some more depth.

Nice, DaHedd. If you can control the lighting, or, if you can wait for an overcast or cloudy but very bright day, you can get rid of the harsh shadow and get the rings rested smoothly and softly against the background. :)

How big is the ring? Could be 3 inches or 3 feet... Interesting to look at the rings from the other side of the point cloud too.
