I see you have been embedding a lot of synths on your site. Nicely done.

This is wonderful. It brings back fond memories and the sky really brings out the feel of the place. Thank you for sharing. Kat

Great stuff...I checked out your site and thought you might want to think about embedding some of your synts on the site (also can help with navigating all those images you have in the photos section too). To embed, click on the image under your tags and copy that HTML out and past it into a page on your site.

It was a little tricky finding the 3d group, but once I found it the point cloud was really great to rotate around. Nice work capturing it all.

Yeah, if I could choose a place to live, this one would be on the list. I loved it! It is so well done and really shows off the beauty of the 1441 barn.

That building looks awesome. An interesting mix of old wood construction and modern style furnishings.

When I say far right corner, i mean the corner that is immediately behind you in the starting image

MedievalArchitecture (Over 1 year ago)
the door is in the far right corner, now boarded up. It was a first floor hall with flint walls. One of the walls (the one with the modern window) fell down and was shored up and made good. The door leads to a service wing that was built in the following century

dariusmonsef (Over 1 year ago)
Doesn't look like there was a door into this house / room... It also looks like is some modern brick work... has this structure been renovated or built onto?

Manor Farm Barn, Rockbourne 1282

Its hard to believe such an ordinary looking barn would hide such treasures. The Gothic arches in the roof are of a stunning quality for such an early age. Carpentry in England only dates as far back as about AD1180. This is a very high status barn, beautifully crafted and engineered.

I have just put up an earlier barn (1282) here http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=fb7d6210-1dac-4ee3-aa98-89032f087c82 its interesting to see the differences! The carpentry in the pre Black Death barn (1348-50) is far more elaborate than this barn.

it's fun to look around in the interior. It would be great to have a path connecting the interior and exterior so that you could navigate back and forth!
