Skullheadface

This is a very cool website and a great way to expand on photography and imagination. I'm looking forward to creating pictures to synth out.......

Press P and make the photos go away. The 3D particles are equally as impressive!

Thanks madeeds. Almost all the sets of pictures I've posted here are taken from my files that were created months to two years ago. Now that I know about photosynth, I'm slowly creating a few files with many angles. you can find three or four sets that I created with photosynth in mind. The cactus one has some really cool zoom ins. Thanks again for your positive comments!

You have a great idea here: using processed images in photosynth. Maybe you could take a number of photos from different angles and process them all the same way and see how it synths.

Hi Marvin, The effect I was going for here was something a little scary. As you can tell from my pictures, I love the beautiful things in life and the creepy. Photography is great !

Marvin (Over 1 year ago)
That IS strange. What effect were you trying to get?

Thanks for the comment madeeds. These guys were very friendly that day, even had a few land on me and hang out for a while.

I'm impressed you got it to stay there. The point cloud of the insect came out really well.

This photo is a neat effect: http://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=7016709d-c80d-4c42-bca2-68a5322dd145&i=0:0:7&z=742.9883611526382&g=0&p=1.48177e-011:4.69805e-014&m=false&c=-0.0902263:-0.517891:-0.113665&d=0.00607921:-2.26137:-2.18616 I guess you over expoeded and then used a non-monotonic level adjustment so that the background wouldn't be entirely white? It almost looks like it's IR or X-ray.

Thanks Bert ! Yes, timeline needed. Photosynth is very cool now, just imagine the cool stuff photosynth will do in the future.

Bert (Over 1 year ago)
Cool photos...shows how we need to add timelines to Photosynth :-)

Thanks K !! This guy was born and raised at the butterfly pavillion and seemed in no hurry to go anywhere. They also had giant spiders, birds, goldfish, .......

K (Over 1 year ago)
I can't believe he was still enough for you to capture all these photos. Well done!

Skullheadface (Over 1 year ago)
Thanks dariusmonsef ! I did not use the rapid fire. Even though he stayed very still, he was one of the few that the camera had a hard time locking in a focus. And the lighting was not that great either. But to view them in photosynth is simply incredible. Synthing adds a whole new level of fun in viewing photographs. From now on I will keep photosynth in mind when I'm out taking pictures. That way I can get those extra shots and angles to synth them out. Cool website !!

dariusmonsef (Over 1 year ago)
Those are great zooms. Did you rapid fire the camera or was this little guy staying pretty still?
