Well Done, I did the same thing when I went to Rangitoto. It's in Auckland, New Zealand, a 30 minutes ferry ride from the city. It's a good day trip, I definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Auckland. However make sure you bring plenty of water and a hat, because there's not much shade.
