Inside a Ross Lake Cabin

The Ross Lake Resort is one of the hidden secrets of the North Cascades. Built as floating housing for the builders of the Ross Lake Dam, you can now rent the cabins between May and October. That is, if you can book one -- they usually are pre-reserved by people who've been coming every year form decades. (See the Ross Lake Tribute" synth).

This was our 2nd time, and we were blessed with sublime weather for kayaking and power boating. Most people come to fish though, and the trout are good!
