Description

Ce n'est pas la plus belle de nos cathédrales, mais elle est pure...
Not the most beautiful french cathedral, but so pure!

Photos réduites à 800 x 600 (problèmes de mémoire!) sans pied, sans flash à 1200 Iso
To solve a memory problem, I had to reduce the pictures to 800 x 600 ; no flashlight, no tripod, at Iso 1200

This once again proves that Photosynth is one of the best ways to capture Cathedrals.

Thank you, but I'm not so glad about the result: for example it's very difficult to get a view on the color-glasses in the right or left sides of the transept. You can see the great organ above the front door, but it's impossible to visit the baptistery ...
I'll try to bring some more pictures

Unfortunately many of the European cathedrals a both huge and dark inside, so you need summer sunshine through the stained glass to do a good interior shoot. This one is great. I am impressed with the outcome at ISO 1200. This would be near impossible with the Cologne Cathedral (I did get some good interior shots when I was there, but not enough to do a synth) it is just to tall inside and too dark.
