Description

As part of my set of synths of artwork at Denver International Airport, last Friday (February 13, 2009) I
took the reference shots to synth this 1994 mural from artist Leo Tanguma.

You can see my synth of Tanguma's other DIA mural, Children of the World Dream of Peace, here:

If you go through Denver International Airport, make sure you take time to appreciate the artwork. There
are some fantastic installations there and the DIA folks always seem to have a new exhibit up. Learn more

nicely done. you included a lot of detail shots, did you use a tripod for those?

Thanks for the positive comment. No, I didn't use a tripod, but I think it would have been very, very helpful. I had to discard half my shots due to blurry imagery.

Holy mother of colorful point clouds! That one turned out really well. We need to make it so you can geotag this on the airport map so I know where this is... I fly through Denver pretty often.

OK. I added a geotag for it on the airport, but from the top of the airport terminal, I'm not certain it'll help. The mural is (I think,) on the Northeast quadrant of the main airport terminal on the baggage claim/main floor of the terminal. Next time I go out I'll note the exact location.
