Ferry Point Magazine was built in the mid 1800's. It served as the main magazine for S. George's
The Walls are reinforced with "Flying Buttresses" for added strength, and the arched roof is made structurally weaker so that in the event of an explosion the roof would blow off, leaving the walls intact!
