Description
The 'Padrão dos Descobrimentos' is a monument dedicated to the portuguese maritime discoveries of the 15th and 16th centuries, standing by the Tejo river, in the Belém area of Lisbon. The top of the monument, 50 metres above ground, offers a very nice 360º view over both riversides.
